Ancient Theater of Orchomenos in Arcadia

·         ATTICA BANK has provided a sponsorship of € 30,000 for the excavation works and the topographic and architectural surveys, which will be considered by DIAZOMA before commissioning the restoration study.

·         The excavation works have already begun.

·         The Prefecture of Arcadia has signed a Programmatic Agreement with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism providing € 200,000 for the construction of a road leading to the theater.

·         The overall project for the enhancement of the archaeological site of Orchomenos is included in the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF), with a funding of € 500.000.

·         A Programmatic Agreement amounting to € 70,000 for the monument’s complete revelation is still pending for signing by the Municipality of Tripolis and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

·         Diazoma has commissioned the ancient theater’s restoration study to the architect Stratis Pavlidis; funding comes from the monument’s money box.
