Ancient Theater of Demetrias

·         The project "Restoration and enhancement of ancient theater of Demetrias sections and the overall improvement of the monument and its surrounding area" is part of the NSRF, with funding of € 750,000.

·         Works have already started for the restoration of two half-columns with the intermediate entablature of the portico of the Hellenistic proscenium, the restoration and coverage of the pipeline that assemblies and removes storm water around the orchestra, the filling of stones in the row of the blocks of seats and the systematic cleaning and maintenance of the stage and the auditorium stones, as well as the monumental group in the area surrounding the theater.
