OUR 'LET's GET STARTED' campaign

Ancient Theater of Askra 

·         On Wednesday, October 31, 2012 the programmatic agreement was signed between the City of Aliartos and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for the realization of the project: "Geophysical prospecting at the theater of ancient Askra."
 

·         The project's total budget amounted to € 8,650 and was covered by the City's costs budget.
 

·         The project aims at detecting and mapping the buried architectural remains of the ancient theatre.
 

·         This program was carried out in close collaboration with the 9th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities.
 

·         Following this, the Region of Central Greece is willing to fund the works for the revealing of the monument through a Programmatic Agreement of € 50,000.
 

·         Actions for the drafting and signing of the agreement are underway.
