Founder members

The founder members of ‘Diazoma’ are scholars, archaeologists, academics, Ministry of Culture personnel, intellectuals, artists, representatives of local government, journalists, active citizens from all over Greece, who have embraced this initiative with enthusiasm and contributed with their work, ideas and deliberations to the founding of the association. They are our fellow citizens who have decided that the research, study, protection, enhancement and, wherever feasible, the use of ancient theatres and other venues for spectators and audiences, such as ancient odeia and stadia, are their concern.

 

Regular members

 

Every private individual over 18 years of age is eligible for regular membership of ‘Diazoma’, provided he/she submits to the Board a signed application with his/her details, i.e. full name, father’s name, place of birth, home address, as well as a declaration that:

 

·         He/she accepts without reservations the memorandum of association, any internal regulations and the legal decisions of the Board and of the General Assembly,

·         He/she does not come under the impediments of article 11 of the memorandum of association.

 

The status of regular member is acquired after approval by the Board, which decides upon the application of each interested person no later than two months from its submission.

Legal Entities under Public and Private Law can also become regular members, provided they submit a relevant application with their exact title, address and tax registration number.

 

Associate members

Those citizens who wish to contribute by every appropriate means to implementing the aims of ‘Diazoma’ may become associate members, after a relevant application, by decision of the Board.
